LEARNING THROUGH ACTION Action Learning Specialists
CLIENT FEEDBACK
Below are some statements fed back to LTA
from various action learning programmes.
"A challenging and
enjoyable weekend. I felt proud of being part of such an
excellent team. I learnt more about my colleagues- some of
them greatly increased in my estimation by showing qualities
I didn't expect".
"I personally gained a
great deal in both getting to know my colleagues and
understanding them in a somewhat alien environment. In a
normal working environment this process would probably have
taken many years
if at all".
"From climbing and cliff
rescue training. I have noticed that if you have confidence
in the people controlling the ropes, then you are able to
concentrate on the job in hand. The instructors gave me
this type of confidence. The three days highlighted for me
people that I feel I can rely on and turn to for help.
Given the chance to do it again I would jump at it".
"That was one helluva'n
experience! What did I get out of it? Well first and
foremost I feel from this "Action Learning" weekend I
understand more about caring for the team and individuals
within the team. To care you must listen and I mean really
listen! You care if you really wonder what is going on in
their minds as we progressed throughout the journey, and
since then I've wondered what the team thinks, what are they
doing?"
"Through the weekend I
must have experienced most of the common emotions.
excitement, confusion depression, anger, frustration,
pleasure, pride in myself and the team. The reasons
probably explained in my personal diary, a copy of which is
attached. The experience certainly
makes you look closely at yourself as well as others".
"In conclusion, I would
say that I have never before been involved in a training
programme which has caused such excitement. It was great to
see almost all the team open up and show real enthusiasm.
This is a rare sight in our company and clearly we need more
of it"
